Intended for youth, Blotched highlights the irreversible damage of an innocent mistake. The story centers around friends, NOAH (10) and GREENY (10) who love Pampas Grass, white-feather plants. Noah’s sister, ERICA, unknowingly harms Noah’s beloved Pampas Grass one day when oil from her treasured motorcycle blotches the plants. I wanted to highlight the irreversible damage of pollution on a small scale and highlight the beauty that kids have for the natural world.
